Blueberry Lodge offer’s a unique dog sledding experience for your child. Here, they will have the opportunity to come into the enclosure to meet the pack and equip their sliding companion(s). Together with a guide, you set off for a loop on the frozen lake. Your child will be at the helm of the sled alone, while a dog will pull the sled. Their safety and speed are ensured by the guide following them on skis, thanks to a tow line attached to the back of the sled. The activity ends by heading back to the lodge, remove the harnesses, pet and give treats to the dogs.
This acitivty is done with Blueberry Lodge’s own family dogs who are affectionate, used to the presence of children, and experienced dogs when it comes to sledding with the little ones.
