Come along on a hunt for the Aurora. We head out in the evening with a bus from Haparanda/Tornio at around 8 pm and drive away from the light pollution. During the tour, we make a couple of stops at dark places with good views of the horizon, for example by a lake and/or on a small hill. Cookies and a hot beverage are served during the tour.
The tour is about three hours.
Bring a camera for the chance to capture the aurora. Modern mobile phones also work for photographing the aurora. Or just come as you are and enjoy the show.
Please note! The aurora can be seen between September-April when the sky is dark and clear. It is however a natural phenomenon, dependent on the sun’s activity so it’s never a guarantee to experience it even if the conditions are right.
