The soft snow covers the landscape, and everything slows down. Winter is the perfect time to cosy up and enjoy calm, mindful activities.
Welcome to the Cedering family and their farm home by the wild Kalix River. You are met by the North Swedish Draft Horses that live on the Arctic farm, an old Swedish country breed that used to be working horses on the farms and in the forests here in the river valleys back in the day. At the farm you will also meet the polar dogs and cats enjoying life by the Arctic Circle.
Learn about life in Heart of Lapland while enjoying Swedish fika around the fire in the barbeque hut, walk on the frozen Kalix River and if you are lucky – you might spot the northern lights.
