Meet Ida, a local tornedalian, and her reindeer. Learn about the history of reindeer-herding people of Torne Valley, feed and pet them. Ida shares the reindeer together with her father, giving you a glimpse into real life at the Arctic Circle. The experience begins with you, as a guest, collecting beard lichen (the reindeer’s favorite treat). You continue to the reindeer enclosure, where you experience the beautiful reindeer up close, listen to stories from the area and treat yourself to a traditional Swedish fika.
