Experience a moment of peace and quiet, close to nature with Cedering’s Horses.
Welcome to the Cedering family and their home by the wild Kalix River. You are met by the North Swedish Draft Horses that live on the Arctic farm, an old Swedish country breed that used to be working horses on the farms and in the forests here in the river valleys back in the day.
You start with helping the family prepare the horse for the sleigh ride, while learning about the horse and the breed’s history. When the horse is ready, you sit back in the sleigh and can enjoy the ride on the winter roads through the Arctic village and by Kalix River. This magical sleigh ride offers winter views of the forest and the Heart of Lapland landscape.
Back at the farm, you are served a Swedish fika in the barbeque hut.
