Getskär / Renskär is part of Likskär's nature reserve. In Getskärsviken there is a stone pier with a skipper's bridge, a floating bridge of 21 meters and a handicap-friendly footbridge to the beach. The southern part of the bay consists of a fine sandy beach.

In Getskärsviken is Kalix municipality's four-bed cottage which can be rented by anyone who is interested in staying in the Kalix archipelago. The cottage is located near the guest harbor which has a depth of three meters at the outer part of the pier. From the bridge, a handicap-friendly footbridge leads to the cottage, which is located about ten meters from the water.

The cottage is, among other things, equipped with a gas stove, gas refrigerator and stove. Adjacent to the building there is also a wood-fired sauna and two dry toilets, one of which is handicapped accessible. Firewood is in the woodshed near the cottage. The cottage has beds with blankets, tables, chairs and kitchen equipment. Solar panels give the cottage some lighting.
