Tailored fishing adventure in Lapland

The salmon and sea trout make the long journey from the Baltic Sea up to the Torne River. Torne River, with its large tributaries Lainio River and Muonio River, is one of the most important salmon rivers in the Baltic region. Here you will find a large strain of wild Baltic salmon.
The past few years the number of salmons in this region has increased significantly because of sea fishing regulations. Now it is one of the most exciting fishing regions for everyone who wishes to pick up a fight with a large Baltic salmon. The size varies, the average weight is about 7 kilos, but every year salmon over 29 kilos end up in this river. There are also great opportunities for fishing along the shores and some of the islands of the river make for lovely spots for fishing. During your stay you also have an opportunity to try our excellent grayling waters and lakes with both perch and pike. Here people are fishing around the clock with midnight sun and long bright summer nights.
Rajamaa also offers tailored fishing packages, Saturday-Sunday, including a professional fishing guide for five days (six hours each per day), accommodation in a cabin at Rajamaa on a full-board basis (beverages not included). All fishing licences and transportation to and from the fishing sites are included.
