About 5 kilometres outside of Överkalix, in Boheden, Katarina and Sture runs Jakobsgården. The farm raises the Swedish sheep “finullsfår” – an ancient native breed. Jakobsgården produces meat, wool, leather and wool crafts from the sheep. Even though running a farm is really hard work, Katarina and Sture have great care for animals and nature. Guests are smitten with the genuine and caring vibe at the farm.
Are you interested in purchasing lamb this autumn? Contact Katarina or Sture at Jakobsgården for requests and bookings. Jakobsgården is open for visits. Guided tours of the beautiful surroundings of Boheden can also be organized, with these experts leading the way through Överkalix, focusing on nature and culture.
